My name is Bob Hammer and I am the Development Director for "A Brighter Day" Car Show & Shine and Foundation. We have some exciting news for all the local car folks. We are proud to announce the return of a Summer Car Show to Downtown Danville! Brief History: Danville used to host Two (2) "Hot Summer Sundays" Car Shows and for the last few years it has been just 1. Our foundation has hosted a car show for the past 3 years. 2 years at Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek, and last year at the Blackhawk Auto Museum. The Town approached me 2 years ago hoping I could bring our car show to Downtown Danville to fill the void. It took me those 2 years, but we finally got approved! Now we need "All Hands On Deck" by local Car Guys/Clubs/Associations to show the Town of Danville and the East Bay that we sorely miss having a Summer Car Show in Downtown Danville! I have collaborated with David Miller of "Hot Summer Sundays" car shows and have his full support...together we are bringing back the Summer Car Show! We're hoping you can forward this to all in your Car Clubs/Associations, car guys etc. for us.
