DECEMBER 2009 NEWSLETTER


The Toys for Tots Run was held on Saturday, December 5, we met at Dino’s at 2:00PM and then cruised to LOV Newark to deliver the toys. The turn out of cars was great, the best year yet for the amount of toys delivered. Next year we will need to start earlier and see is we can use Dino’s as a drop off point for toys, we will also get some type of antenna flags or a bill board to put in a truck so as people see us cruising they will know what is going on, put a add on Craig’s list, and in the Tri City News ( a good project for our events committee)

Our Club Hosted Holiday Dinner for club members was held at the Market Broiler, in Fremont on December 5th and all that attended had a great time, hopefully we can make this an annual event.

Matt Herrera has volunteered to be responsible for the Web Site – email – and club photos.
The club wants to Thank Matt and Ramon for the Great Job they did in 2009.

The Club Membership Renewal Pizza night will be held at the Round Table Pizza at the corner of Thornton and Cedar in Newark (the same as lat year) on Saturday January 16, 2010 at 5:00 PM.
This year all members who renew in the month of January will receive either a $5.00 membership discount or a club antenna flag for renewing in January.

Remember our regularly scheduled meeting is on the third Wednesday of the month, the next meeting will be on Wednesday 1-20- 2010, we look forward to seeing everyone at Fremont Ford at 6:30PM.

Actions underway or (still) in progress

Matt has started to update the photos on the electronic display at Dino’s is working with the web designer on some changes to our web site.
