JANUARY 2010 NEWSLETTER
The Club Membership Renewal Pizza night was held at the Round Table Pizza on Saturday January 16, 2010 and all that attended had a good time.
This year all members who renew in the month of January will receive either a $5.00 membership discount or a club antenna flag for renewing in January. So far 23 members have paid their dues.
Remember our regularly scheduled meeting is on the third Wednesday of the month, the next meeting will be on Wednesday 2-17- 2010, we look forward to seeing everyone at Fremont Ford at 6:30PM.
Remember our Annual Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, May 15th, time to start getting sponsors for the show.
Actions underway or (still) in progress
Matt has completed the website update, Dick Modzeleski suggested that we have a page for advertisements that the club can charge for. Another suggestion was made to have another sponsor tier and for an additional fee the sponsor will be able to advertise for a year. Matt will need to check with the web designer to see if we can have an advertisement page.
The club will be buying 15 cones for use at our car shows, another table and will look into buying a storage shed for our supplies. Matt Herrera has offered his back yard to keep the shed in.
Ron Brutvan will see if he can find a vender who will make up 500 goodie bags with the clubs name on it and look into have sponsors names on the bags.
John Sargent will contact Fremont Ford to see if we can do another car show on their lot, he will also contact Larry and Loretta to see if we can have our car show listed on the site.
George Pocan to get details and information on donating $500.00 for a Ohlone Student Scholarship.
